The SunPort system is a through-the-roof daylighting system patented and owned by Atlantic Daylighting, Inc. of Norwalk, CT. In July 2004, Atlantic Daylighting awarded the distribution rights of the SunPort technology to Hasco Lighting. The exclusive agreement allows Hasco to market and distribute the newly-released improved version of the SunPort 1 (passive) and the SunPort 2 (active) with T-5 fluorescents.

Our daylighting solutions cover virtually all types of commercial, retail, industrial, educational, health care, military, municipal and governmental facilities.

Our experience enables us to provide comprehensive lighting solutions for any type of interior space. Many times, this means balancing existing lighting with SunPort technology for a project that complements the needs of the owner and keeps the project economics in check.

The "Ultimate Light Source" is the principal concept behind understanding and applying daylight lighting designs. Daylighting is the "Ultimate" light source compared to all other light sources. The visual spectrum, visual comfort and health benefits can not be matched. Daylight as the replacement power source of electrical energy creates lighting projects that can save most facilities 50-80% of their current direct electrical needs for existing lighting systems.

SunPort is not just a lighting system, but also a significant business tool that provides a combination of drastically-improved lighting and substantial cost savings. Unlike electrical energy that you pay for, SunPort technology uses a no cost energy source -- daylight!

Hasco Lighting and Atlantic Daylighting engineers work together in a continued effort to improve the SunPort technology. In the very near future, a new version of the SunPort active system will be available. The SunPort3 will provide 100% of the required light levels during daytime and nighttime operation while operating exclusively from its own power source.
